The Smiles for Veterans program was established in 2016 after identifying Veterans as an under-served population in terms of dental care. The VA provides dental care to only 8% of Veterans and other state agencies do not cover complex procedures or long-term care. SFV is passionate about facilitating critical dental care for Veterans at little to no cost to them.
How it works:
Veterans submit a request form and upon identification, health & financial needs verification, SFV arranges a free consultation with a dental partner. The dental partner sends the treatment plan and evaluation of medical need to SFV and the patient receives the crucial care they deserve. SFV then submits the payment directly to the dental partner.
